Enquiries and corrections
When you submit a form, we collect your name, email address, message and any business or guide details you include. These are stored in our editorial inbox so the team can handle your request. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
To notify our team and send you a one-off receipt, your name, email address and enquiry details are also passed to GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), the customer-relationship and email service we use. Your enquiry is recorded there as a contact without any newsletter subscription.
Newsletter subscriptions
Our newsletter is managed with GoHighLevel (LeadConnector). When you enter your email address, tick the consent box and submit the form, you are subscribed straight away. Your email address, the site you signed up on, and a record of your consent (the consent wording version and time) are stored there, and we send you one welcome email. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing marks your address as do-not-email in that service. We never resubscribe you automatically and we do not subscribe you to other network newsletters.
Website activity and cookies
We may record activity such as guide views and business-link clicks to understand how the publication is used. The site also uses essential session cookies for its editorial sign-in. Where analytics or advertising services are enabled, they may use cookies or similar technologies according to the applicable settings and choices presented to you.
Advertising and other websites
Guides may contain advertising and links to businesses or other sites in our network. Those websites and advertising services have their own privacy practices. Choosing to follow a link does not subscribe you to another service.
Access and enquiries
We use enquiry information to handle your request and do not publish your email address with a correction or nomination. Contact the team if you want to ask about your information, request a correction or discuss deletion of information you supplied.
